In a world where the preoccupation with the have and have-nots exists, reminders of self-worth are essential. Patches is about a very blessed little girl who is being taught by a wise grandmother. In spite of her finances, or the lack thereof, Patches is a happy, loving, and confident little girl. She's obviously not intimidated by someone whose lifestyle differs from hers.
She taught the little girl she met in the park a very powerful lesson: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1).
